  There's so much to do around here: in one direction you have the delta (check out the local rice drink), as well as beaches (we recommend Cap Roig). In the other direction you have Els Ports national park (we recommend the walks around La Font de Sant Roc, and the pretty mountain village of Pauls) for amazing views and walking. In between you have the Ebro, with all its history (check out the museum at Gandesa) and castles (e.g. in Tortosa and at Miravet).

  We had a great time at this little casita and were amazed that the whole finca is 'off grid' i.e. all the electricity is produced by the owner's solar panels and the water is from the well. Viggo and Tamara were so helpful and fantastic hosts.

  I highly recommend that you use your holiday to pick olives in the beautiful Camarles. We drove a perfect interaction between relaxation, work and excursions, and rarely have I met a more interesting and knowledgeable person than Viggo, who acted as guide and driver on our trips out of the blue.

  Casita Buen Viento is located in the middle of olives plantation, between sea and gigantic mountains. The place is so special and spiritual that it is impossible to describe it.

  In terms of the house itself: the décor is rustic and tasteful and the outdoor spaces are lovely, with a little terrace outside the bedroom with beautiful mountain views and lots of space for chilling and lounging outside the main entrance. The swimming pool was out of action when we went (undergoing repairs) but would be amazing in the heat. It also has its own microclimate, being a little more windy at times than nearby areas. It's really enjoyable to walk around Viggo's finca and the nearby Cardo valley and mountains, too, with the great views over Tortosa.

  The fantastic beaches, unique, mesmerizing mountain views, cosy, warm, and soo Spanish L'Ampolla, 2 hours travel to Barcelona, wonderful local people, real food and heady wine ... The property is so romantic, authentic and charming! Our love and the best wishes forever to landlords to Mr and Mrs Peetz!! WARNING: The place is not recommended for people who are looking for all inclusive and busy night life.
